I grew up here in beautiful Kamloops and from a very young age I have been drawn to caring for animals of all kinds. In 2021 I earned a veterinary assisting certificate and have since worked as a receptionist and a veterinary assistant. I joined the amazing team at Kamloops Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 2024.

Continuing education has become important to me in my career as I quickly discovered there will always be more to learn. Being Fear-Free certified it is my goal to create a positive, calm, and enjoyable experience for each furry patient that I meet. I am naturally drawn to cats so I enjoyed achieving the Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional Certificate through AAFP. I’ve also earned a Level 2 Royal Canin Nutrition Advisor certificate that helps me to be able to offer tailored nutritional advice for pets in different life stages or with certain medical considerations. I am now working towards my new goal of becoming an RVT by working through an online technologist degree program while still working full time!

At home I share my life with my wonderful husband of over 20 years. I enjoy riding horseback on my beloved Paint horse Cielo, hanging out with my dog, Jack, and sneaking naps with my three feline friends, Fizzer, Finn and Simon. I very much enjoy photography, playing music, and nature.
