Clinic Policies

Thank you for choosing Kamloops Veterinary Clinic for your pet care needs. We understand that vet visits can be stressful for pets and pet parents, and we thank you in advance for adhering to our clinic policies.

1. Allow 24 hours for prescription refills: Any prescriptions require a 24-hour notice for refills. We always work our very best to get them filled as quickly as we can but we are a very busy hospital!
2. Missed appointments: In the event of a missed appointment without prior communication, please be aware that a charge equivalent to 50% of the missed exam fee may apply.
3. Payment is due at time of service: We require payment at the time of each service and are not able to provide in-house payment plans. However, we recommend checking out PetCard for any veterinary financing you may need.
4. Zero tolerance for verbal or physical abuse: While we understand that your visits can be stressful at times, we do not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards our team
5. Masks in our clinic: Currently, masks are not required within the clinic but are always recommended for your safety and the safety of our team. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you reschedule your pet’s appointment.
