I recently moved to Kamloops from Scotland, in search of a new and exciting way of life. Growing up in the Scottish countryside surrounded by farm animals, wildlife and beloved family pets, I developed a deep love and appreciation for all animals. This sparked my desire to work in the veterinary field, where I could turn my passion into a career dedicated to caring for them.
I initially studied at Scotland’s Rural College as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2019, then quickly realised I wanted to go even further and study to be a Veterinary Nurse. Since graduating in 2022, I have worked in Small Animal practices. I love all aspects of the job, especially surgery. I’m excited to continue to learn and develop my skills alongside the fantastic team here at Kamloops Veterinary Clinic!
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, spending time with my partner, and catching up with family and friends back in Scotland. I also love to unwind and escape into a good book.
