Christy grew up on a farm in Alberta and has had a passion for animals that lead her to enroll in the Animal Health Technologist Program at Olds College that she graduated from on 2001.
Over the following years Christy worked at a variety of veterinary clinics around Alberta and also taught Animal Health Technology at both Fairview College and Olds College. The love of working directly with animals called her back to veterinary practice where she works at a Veterinary clinic in Calgary for 13 years before she made the move to Kamloops.
When she is not at the clinic, Christy enjoys spending her time mountain biking, camping, cooking, reading and, as she jokingly says, recovering from the many little injuries she picks up from patients over the course of a typical day at work.
Over the last 20 plus years her love of animals has only grow and she looks forward to caring for your little ones.
